The millenial workforce today is a mobile urban population that is rapidly-growing. The lack of access to high-quality living spaces is just one of the many housing problems millenials face.
Hmlet co-living offers housing solutions for millenials to have access to high-quality living spaces, more flexible leases and all-inclusive memberships (utilities, housekeeping and social events).
Once you secure a room in one of our co-living spaces (1 month deposit + 1 month rent) you automatically become a Hmlet member. That means that you will be invited to all the events Hmlet organises and have access to exclusive offers on top of meeting new people. A Hmlet membership means that you have chosen to become part of a community of people that live together and are accountable to each other.
No, you have no obligations and bear no costs either. We will only be showing you rooms that match your profile.
At Hmlet, we take care of the little things so you can enjoy your space and the company of your fellow members. That’s why our memberships are inclusive of utility bills and weekly common area cleaning. We also offer a single point of contact with our Hmlet Community Managers who provide logistical support throughout your membership.
Hmlet also offers personal living space cleaning services for an additional fee (bedroom and/or bathroom). You can opt for weekly or ad-hoc cleaning, bookings for additional cleaning are made through the Hmlet App or your dedicated Community Manager.
All Hmlet homes are move-in ready and come fully equipped with stylish contemporary furniture, kitchen equipment and utensils.
Your room comes fully furnished with a bed frame, mattress & mattress protector, and closet (most Master Rooms will include a desk and side table). You can bring your own furniture in your room too if you prefer (set-up and removal costs will incur).
A move-in set is available for purchase at an extra fee, consisting of 2 pillows, fitted sheet, duvet, duvet cover & a towel set (bath and face). Everything will be set-up by our Hmlet staff before you move in.
Yes, we are! However, it is subject to approval by us and other housemates. If you would like to move in with a pet, bring this up to your Community Manager and they can help!
Yes, you can cook anything you like. We only ask that you be mindful of the members that share your space and share the goodness!
Absolutely! As long as you respect the space you’re sharing with your fellow members. For guests staying more than 6 days, an extra fee will be charged. Conditions may vary depending on your room category.
Hmlet provides linen, towels and move-in kits for purchase. Your bed will already be made when you move into your space. Do note that linen and towels come in a set and cannot be purchased separately.

Whether your air-con is faulty, or a lightbulb isn’t working, email in to email@example.com and our Community Managers will help you right away.
The Hmlet app is on its way! We’re working on an app that’s going to change the way you live. You’ll be able to book services and report home related issues directly on the app. You can also keep track of Hmlet events and have a quick preview of who’s in your building through the app.

Hmlet uses 10 data points to draw up the co-living profiles of every member. From there, we’re able to cater to the lifestyle and developmental needs of its members regardless of how long they stay in the space or where they come from.
Absolutely! As your Community Manager organises the viewing of your potential home, you will hear about the other people that share the apartment you are looking at. You will only be shown an apartment that’s shared by people whose profiles match yours.
Becoming a Hmlet member means that you have access to all Hmlet homes. Should you find yourself in a situation where a potential mismatch is causing you distress and you have taken all steps to address the occasional relationship hiccups, we will place you in the next available apartment that matches your profile.
We hold weekly and monthly events that bring Hmlet members together for some fun and networking. Our events range from parties, workshops to city-discovering tours. Make sure you keep an eye out on our Facebook page and Instagram for upcoming events!
You have to commit to a minimum stay of 3 months with Hmlet. Afterwards, your contract will be extended on a month-by-month basis and you’ll be able to vacate your home or transfer to any of our other co-living properties around the world, as freely as you want. We simply request you provide us a 30 days notice period.
We need a copy of your Passport/ID/IC and a copy of a valid visa/employment pass. That's it!
Yes, we need to hold on to 1 month’s worth of rent as deposit.
If there are no accident or damage cost incurred to you, your deposit will be refunded within 30 days after your move-out.
Absolutely! We can refund your deposit to any account that you provide us with.
We require the security deposit amount to be paid before your move in. Your invoice can be paid a few days after your move in (through your account from abroad or after you open your bank account).
Yes, however a 3.5% processing fee will be charged.
Whether you’re leaving the country, relocating or would like to change your neighbourhood, you’ll have to inform us 30 days in advanced.
Rent is due on the 1st of every month. If you moved in mid-month, your rent will be prorated from the day of the month you moved in with us.
Hmlet charges an annual $100 administration fee.
