What is co-living?

Hmlet co-living is changing the way you live wherever you are in the world to make it more convenient and inclusive. We’re always striving to curate a comfortable environment you can call home while also providing opportunities for collaboration with other Hmlet members.

It’s important that you have peace of mind, so we’ve made our homes move-in ready and fully functional. Plus, monthly rent is made all-inclusive so you don’t have to worry about utilities and cleaning fees.


Once I acquire a room with Hmlet, does that make me a member?

Yes! Once you’re a tenant with us, you’re automatically a Hmlet member. That means you’ll be in the loop for Hmlet events where you’ll get to meet other like-minded Hmlet members and be a part of a thriving community.


What type of services comes with my all-inclusive membership?

When we say we take care of everything, we mean it. We handle your utilities, cleaning fees and internet. Our Crew are also scheduled to clean the common areas in your flat every week.

You can also top up an amount for the Crew to clean your personal bedroom. Our Community Managers can help you with the arrangements.


What does move-in ready mean?

It is exactly what it means, you can show up with just your luggage and move in straight away.

All Hmlet flats are fully furnished and equipped with washing machines and dryers. Our kitchen is fully functional with shared utensils and each bedroom comes fully furnished with a bed frame, mattress & mattress protector, closet, plus desks and side tables in certain rooms.

Additional set of 2 pillows, fitted sheet, duvet, duvet cover & a towel set (consisting of a bath towel, face towel and tea towel) can be provided at an extra fee.


Is Hmlet pet-friendly?

Yes, we are! You just have to make sure the rest of your housemates are agreeable to it.

How do I get in touch with a Community Manager?

What do I do if I have an emergency in my flat?

Whether your air-con is faulty, or a lightbulb isn’t working, email in to help@hmlet.com and our Community Managers will help you right away!


Is it possible to get to know my flatmates before I move in?

Definitely! Get in touch with our Community Managers and they can make the arrangements. On our end, we’ve matched you with flatmates who lead similar lifestyles and share similar interests and values with the support of advanced people analytics.


What type of events does Hmlet organise?

We hold weekly and monthly events that bring Hmlet members together for some fun and networking. Our events range from parties, workshops to city-discovering tours. Make sure you keep an eye out on our Facebook page and Instagram for upcoming events!


Is there an app for Hmlet members?

The Hmlet app is on its way! We’re working on an app that’s going to change the way you live. You’ll be able to book services and report home related issues directly on the app. You can also keep track of Hmlet events and have a quick preview of who’s in your building through the app.


Terms & Payments


Is there a minimum stay I have to commit to?

You have to commit to a minimum of 3 months with Hmlet. Afterwards, your contract will be extended on a month-by-month basis.


Do I need to serve notice if I choose to vacate?

Whether you’re leaving the country, relocating or would like to change your neighbourhood, you’ll have to inform us 30 days in advanced.


What does Hmlet’s flexible month-to-month membership plan* mean?

Our month-to-month membership plan is only possible after you commit to the minimum of 3 months with Hmlet. After that, you’ll be able to transfer to any of our other co-living properties around the world. When it comes to vacating, the same applies after you’ve transferred – you have to inform us 30 days in advanced.


When is rent due?

Rent is due on the 1st of every month. If you moved in mid-month, your rent will be prorated from the day of the month you moved in with us.
